How do I add another signer to my Notarize.ca appointment?

Are multiple people signing your document? No problem! You can add one or more additional signers to your online notary session.

Additional signers do not need to create their own Notarize.ca account.

Adding one additional signer

To add one additional signer:

  1. Create your Notarize.ca account and book a new appointment

  2. On the client information screen (step three of the booking process), scroll to the bottom. Under the question, "Are additional people signing your document?", check off the Yes button

3. A new Additional Signer section will appear - add the required information

4. Indicate where the signer is located by checking off the appropriate button

5. When you're done adding the additional signer's information, click Next

If your additional signer is in a different location, they will automatically receive an email with the link to join the online notary appointment.
