Tip: Let your notary know you are joining the appointment from a smart phone or tablet so they can help you get the best experience during your appointment.
How to join your online notary appointment on a smart phone or tablet:
1. Log-in to your Notarize.ca account at your appointment start time
2. At your appointment start time, a green Join Session button will appear
- If you don't see this button at your start time, refresh the page
3. Click the green Join Session button to join the online video session
4. Scroll down the screen and click on Request Permissions

Note: You must grant permissions to allow the app to access your smart phone's camera and microphone to participate in the online notary appointment
5. Click Allow
How to sign documents on a smart phone:

Scroll down below the video screens to the My Documents section

Click on the link to your document
3. Your document will open in a new browser window
4. Scroll to the bottom left-hand corner of the browser window and click Agree and Continue
5. Scroll to the bottom middle of the browser window and click Start
6. Click on the fields to complete your signature and add any necessary information
7. When you're done all fields, scroll to the bottom right-hand corner of the window and click Finish
8. Close the window and go back to the video session
How to download documents on a smart phone or tablet:

Once payment is processed, you can click on Refresh in the My Documents section, then click on the download icon to download your completed document
2. When you're ready to leave the notary appointment, click Close Video Session at the bottom of your screen
