Cancellation policy

We understand that things happen and plans need to change. You can cancel your appointment online up to two hours before your appointment time. You can also contact us at hello@notarize.ca to cancel.

If you cancel your appointment with less than two hours' notice or if you do not show up for your appointment, you will be charged a $42.93 late cancellation fee.

If you are not prepared for your appointment and this results in the notary not being able to notarize your documents during your scheduled appointment time, you will be charged a $37.99 fee plus HST. 

If you requested that we arrange for a witness and you late cancel your appointment or do not show up, a witness cancellation fee of $37.99 plus HST applies.

Lateness policy

If you are running late, please contact us at hello@notarize.ca as soon as possible. However, we can’t guarantee that we will be able to keep your appointment if you are more than 10 minutes late. 

If you are 10 minutes late to your notary appointment, you will be charged a late fee of $10.99 plus HST.

If you are more than 20 minutes late, you cancel with less than two hours’ notice or you do not show up to your appointment, you will be charged a late cancellation fee of $37.99 plus HST.
